Step 5: Example 2

Let's use Cytochrome P450 (CYP) B this time. We created 3 acronyms for the 2B6 family. Filling in our acronyms in the above outline:

1. Inducers: KOBE
2. Substrates: BEANS
3. Inhibitors: BRYANT

We have 3 sets of acronyms for every isoenzyme (only one - 2B6 - is shown above). They are simply 3 lists of medications that act as inducers (list 1), substrates (list 2), and inhibitors (list 3) at a particular isoenzyme (e.g. 1A2, 2B6, etc.).
This is nothing different than what you may find on any website. What makes The MINOTAUR unique is that we listed the medications so their first letter spells out an acronym. Now, it will be that much easier for you to remember each medication listed.
