Step 6: The Visual Mnemonic

Since the 3A4 isoenzyme can only represent Mickey Mantle (Table 3), we now need to somehow get you to associate the 3 acronyms with Mickey Mantle. Stated scientifically, we need to somehow get you to associate the 3 lists of medications with the 3A4 isoenzyme.
The association is made simple by the construction of a visual mnemonic. We created a visual mnemonic that incorporates all 3 acronyms and the sports figure that represents 3A4, Mickey Mantle (Table 4).

Our second example, cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2B6, turns out to be even simpler since Kobe Bryant's middle name happens to be Bean (no kidding, look it up).
